O2 Arena

Originally called the Millennium Dome, built to house the Millennium Experience, a large number of exhibits and attractions connected to living in the year 2000. The exhibition drew to a close in 2001 and the site lay dormant for some time. Following a major refurbishment of the complete internal structure the dome re-opened in 2007 as The O2, a complex on the Greenwich Peninsula in South East London, containing bars, restaurants, a cinema and the O2 Arena, a 20,000 seat capacity multi-purpose indoor stadium.
