The Rain Project 2001-2009.

London occasionally sees unseasonal, almost tropical rain. For 8 years, my studio space was based on Park Road in Crouch End, North London, and on the rare occasions that this heavy rain showed up, I'd grab my camera and go to shoot the view outside. More than the views, it was the reactions that fascinated - this wasn't your usual English drizzle, but downpours that found people wholly unprepared, scrabbling for a solution or just going with it and enjoying being soaked to the skin.

In 2009, I moved studios and so this project is at an end. At least for now.
