A short while ago I was in LA, shooting fashion panoramas for alternative designers Mother of London.
The shoot took place at The Edison Downtown in Los Angeles, Califonia. The Edison is an incredible venue ? built in 1910 by Thomas Higgins, a copper baron, it was L.A.’s first ever power plant. After spending many years derelict and under several metres of water, it was finally rescued by Andrew Meieran and Marc Smith, who have created an incredible post-industrial venue for Los Angeles loft-dwelling bar-goers. The original architectural features, atmospheric décor and lighting provide a fantastic backdrop to the panoramas.
