Portfolio: New ‘Zoomable’ Panoramas

Increasingly I am shooting images at an incredibly high resolution and so the file sizes are massive. This means that it’s difficult to display them online in a way which does them justice. I have introduced a new section on the site which aims to show the files bigger than before, so people can zoom in and see the details.
This works particularly well with some of my ‘city skyline’ series, where the detail is fascinating when you can get in close enough to see it. To view the above London skyline panorama in a zoomable high definition format please click here. You can use the buttons underneath the panorama to navigate in and out.
Although this shows the images bigger, it’s still nowhere near the possibility with these files. I’m currently working with the agency Lemon Mouse who are using one of my Shanghai panoramas at 32m wide at the Cable & Wireless HQ. The possibility for large-scale applications such as interior design, building wraps and hoardings are endless.
