Chennai, India

Chennai (formerly Madras) is an industrial city on the south-eastern Indian coast. Despite its commercial significance, it's also well known for its cultural heritage and temple architecture. The coastline was badly hit by the 2004 Tsunami, with more than 200 dead, and many more displaced and losing their livelihoods.

I spent much of November and early December shooting a commission for Siemens in the UK for their Annual Review of 2007. - Friday February 1st, 2008


Black Rock City

Whilst in California I visited the Burning Man Festival in Nevada - an event which is almost impossible to describe. Black Rock City is an entirely temporary city which springs up for a week for the festival, and then vanishes, leaving no trace on the hard dust bed of the desert (the playa). Sunday September 16th, 2007


San Francisco

In September, I travelled to California to shoot, and had the opportunity to travel around shooting my own stuff too. This panorama shows the view over Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Saturday September 15th, 2007


Trafalgar green with turf

‘Visit London’ bought in turf from the Vale of York and used it to turn Trafalgar Square into a green space for a couple of days. The first panorama shows the effects of the night before, with the grass covered in litter. Sunday May 27th, 2007
