One of the City of London’s most iconic buildings is 11 this year. The building commonly known as ‘the Gherkin’ is the 4th tallest in the City of London, behind Tower 42, the Heron Tower and the Leadenhall Building (‘the Cheesegrater’), but still stands out as instantly recognisable on the City’s skyline. It counts as […]
If you visit Yosemite between May and November, you can reach the mile-long Tenaya Lake via the Tioga Pass Road. Outside these times, the weather conditions close the road. It is just these kind of extremes that helped form this stunning lake, created by the same glacier that forged Half Dome. Tenaya Lake wasn’t on […]
“Surely the fairest picture the whole world affords” said Mark Twain of Lake Tahoe, and when free of the crowds you can see just why. This 360 view looks out above Emerald Bay, over towards Eagle Falls (waterfall) and Fannette Island. We had sat out on the rocks, having a beer or two the night […]

This 360 allows you to explore inside the Battersea Power Station Control Room. The decommissioned 1930’s power station is an incredible example of Art Deco architecture and getting the chance to explore inside this building was an exciting experience for me. The dials you can see inside the control room were all still beautifully solid. […]

Pigeons have enormous fields of vision – they can see 340-degrees around without moving, thanks to their side-mounted eyes. The peripheral vision of each eye is so great that the two visual fields overlap, giving the pigeon a binocular field of 24-degrees when it looks straight ahead. Trafalgar square celebrates the famous naval victory at […]
