I’m fortunate to live within easy reach of Hampstead Heath – a 790 acre stretch of land where the view over London is protected by law! The height of the Heath makes it a great place to capture London’s landmark buildings from a distance. This view includes the Gherkin (St Mary Axe), Tower 42, The London Eye, the BT Telecom Tower, St Paul’s Cathedral and The Shard – still under construction but already playing a massive part on the London skyline.
The resolution of this panorama means that you can zoom right in to see the buildings at closer quarters. The image below gives you an impression of the scale of the image and how much you can zoom in to view the detail on the trees and on London itself.
