This black and white London Eye panorama (originally known as the Millennium Wheel) captures the South Bank and the River Thames in exceptional detail. Shot as a gigapixel cityscape, the image shows the stretch of central London from the Royal Festival Hall on the left to St Thomas’s Hospital on the right. At the centre sits the London Eye, framed by the Hungerford and Golden Jubilee Bridges on the east and Westminster Bridge to the west.
Across the river, St Paul’s Cathedral rises above the skyline, while Shell Mex House, County Hall and the London Aquarium stand prominently along the Embankment. Every architectural detail is rendered in sharp focus, giving the sense of standing above the Thames, looking across one of London’s most recognisable views.
The image was created at extremely high resolution, making it suitable for large-format out-of-home (OOH) use including supersites, mega-boards, building wraps and other bespoke installations. Its scale and clarity also make it ideal for interior applications, such as feature walls, one-off wallpapers, or large photographic prints for offices and public spaces.
This London Eye panorama forms part of a wider collection of London cityscapes available in ultra-high resolution. Each piece is captured and stitched using multiple images to achieve the highest possible fidelity, allowing them to reproduce at virtually any size.
