Virgin Radio HQ is in the News Building in London Bridge Street. Breakfast show DJ Chris Evans wanted to walk into work past an enormous cityscape panorama of the City of London. Will was commissioned to shoot a hi-res cityscape from the roof of the News Building to fit the bill. You can see the image in situ above. It measured 13.5 metres wide by 2.6 metres high and shows the spectacular views from the News Building, from Tower Bridge to the City of London and beyond.
The image is not shot as a single image – rather the cityscape panorama is made up of many individual images which are stitched together to create a single high-resolution image. You can view many examples of high resolution cityscapes in the portfolio here.
