Mercedes X-Class
This Mercedes 360 image allows users to explore the interior of the X-Class luxury pickup truck in full 360-degree high-resolution detail.
The interactive image gives a clear view of the X-Class cabin layout, materials and design features exactly as they appear from the driver’s seat. The shoot was carried out in a car studio to maintain complete control over lighting and reflections.
Photographing a vehicle interior for a 360 presentation involves careful setup. Every surface, from polished trim to soft-touch leather, reflects light differently. The confined space also means camera positioning, exposure control and alignment have to be precise. Each section of the cabin was photographed separately and then stitched together to form a seamless, high-resolution interior.
A separate 360 backplate was captured on location and composited into the final image to place the car in a realistic environment while retaining the clean lighting achieved in studio.
Producing a Mercedes 360 of this type requires attention to detail from capture through to final retouching. Consistent colour, perspective and light balance ensure the finished image feels natural to explore and accurate to the real interior.
Interactive 360s of car interiors are widely used in automotive marketing. Most often, this is to provide interactive content for range marketing materials on manufacturer’s websites. They can also be used for product launches and virtual showrooms. It allows potential customers to experience the vehicle interior with clarity and realism before they see it in person.
